Jill Eide CEM, Great River Energy
Jill has worked in the utility efficiency industry for nearly a decade, specializing in account management and efficiency program development. With experience at both the generation and transmission (G&T), and local distribution utility levels, she has a wholistic approach to new efficiency program development. Jill earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and is working on a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Thomas University.
Peter Gephart, MAMAC Systems Inc.
Peter has been working in the energy efficiency industry since 2012 and has gained knowledge throughout his career with jobs in consulting and HVAC controls. With a passion for helping customers save energy through efficient building operations. He holds a B.A. degree from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Applied Science degree from the University of Denver. In his spare time he enjoys biking, craft beer, and traveling with his wife.
Paul Pagel CEM, Minnesota Technical Assistance Program (MNTAP)
Paul has worked form MnTAP since 1989 in a variety of industries on pollution prevention and energy conservation projects. He is also on the board of our local Chemical Coaters Association. Paul graduated from the University of Minnesota in Chemical Engineering.
Gregory Shane, Retired Engineering Technical Assistance Program (RETAP)
Gregg is a consultant with RETAP which is within the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA). He retired from the U.S. Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital sytem after over thirty years working as Operations Supervisor and Energy Manager for various VA medial centers. He has seved previous on the AEE-TC board as Secretary and is currently the incumbent Treasurer. Gregg graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Training and Certifications
June 15-19, 2020
This week long course prepares attendees to take the end of week CEM exam. The CEM program focuses on optimizing energy use and costs withing non-residential buildings. It explains how energy is purchased and then used in various energy systems thoughout a building, such as HVAC, Lighting, Motors, and Boilers. This holistic approach helps energy professionals see the big picuture and then learn how to optimize systems to reduce costs, improve profits, and increase occupant satisfaction. Most course participants leave with actionalbe ideas they can immediatley apply in their facilities to improve profitability.
