It was great to see so many of you at our June tour of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus Main Energy Plant. Thank you to our hosts for a great tour.

We’d love to have your help with chapter improvements. Opportunities are available with event planning, social media coordinating, membership, and as a liaison with the AEE Council on Women in Energy Environmental Leadership (CWEEL).

AEE Council on Women in Energy Environmental Leadership (CWEEL)

The Council on Women in Energy Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) supports the role of women in the energy and environmental industries. CWEEL provides career development for professional women aspiring to leadership roles and mentorship for women pursuing technical education and careers in the energy and environmental fields.

CWEEL is a division of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Contact Twin Cities Vice President, Michelle Gage at [email protected] for more information and opportunities to participate!

AEE Chapter Meeting – October 12, 2022, 12:30 PM

Tour: Xcel Energy’s High Bridge Combined Cycle Power Plant in St. Paul, Minnesota

Date: Wednesday, October 12, 2022

Time: 12:30

Duration: 1-1.5 hours

Location: 155 Randolph Ave, St. Paul MN 55102        

Additional directions: After entering the plant, please proceed to your left towards the flagpoles and come in the front entry, once in the plant proceed to 2nd Floor.

Photographs: Photographs of the plant and plant site are not allowed.

Clothing: Wear comfortable, flat shoes that have closed toes and casual clothes, Please NO shorts; long pants are required for participation of the tour.  The tour route includes travel on several plant stairs and open floor grating.  Hard hats and safety glasses will be supplied.
